Saliva Drug Testing Training- US 32327 32328
Saliva looks for recent use and therefore has close correlation to impairment. If your work is keen to have a testing methodology for “fitness for work” then saliva testing and confirmatory processes are ideal. This course will equip you to mange the first line of defense by screening through an oral fluid device and learn the processes required by an IANZ accredited lab to confirm the screening results as per AS/NZS 4760:2019
Our Saliva Drug Testing Course will cover:
- On-site Screening – collection, procedures, handling and dispatch of oral fluid testing as per AS/NZS 4760:2019
- Unit Standards 32327 and 32328

Following the course, candidates will be competent Collectors as per AS/NZS 4760:2019:
- Be able to carry out oral fluid drug testing with an AS/NZS 4760:2019 certified Device
- Be able to record on consent form, chain of custody and preparing sample for laboratory confirmation
- Complete understanding on how to maintain integrity in the saliva sample collection
- Understand how to use saliva kit for on-site screening (provided in course)
- Have access to special candidate rates, for all associated products
- Have their credits reported to NZQA and issued with a Certificate of Competence
Requirements for Candidates
- An on-going relationship with an accredited lab
- Trainees to have good understanding of good occupational health and safety
- A copy of AS/NZS4760:2019 (however copies are available for training if required)
Advance diagnostics has an approved sub contracting arrangement with WDSF to register these credits
