New Business Sales Manager


As the New Business Sales Manager you will ensure all sales targets are achieved or exceeded in accordance with the Advance Diagnostics sales plan.

Develop and maintain new customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities, while providing excellence in customer service.

Be knowledgeable in providing health & safety solutions to medium and large enterprises.

General description:

  • Responsible for sales, quoting and provision of information on products in the areas of drugs and alcohol screening products and services for new customers
  • Develop and execute sales plans and marketing plan for major accounts to achieve sales targets
  • Maintaining and building relationships with new clients and identifying new markets to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships
  • Maintain close contact with major accounts to identify current and anticipated customer requirements
  • Prepare proposals and detailed costings and prepare contract documents for negotiation with clients
  • Select, recommend and demonstrate appropriate products to address individual client needs.
  • Prepare for and attend trade shows, as required
  • Keep abreast of market trends and follow-up market leads for new business opportunities.
  • Pursue new business via telephone, cold-calling and networking opportunities.
  • Participate in the preparation and submission of tenders.
  • Monitor competitor activity and report significant developments to management



  • Although a tertiary qualification is certainly desirable, of greater importance are a proven track record.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • This person would ideally be an experienced Territory Manager/Sales Representative who understands the basics of managing a business relationships. However, it is possible that this position may suit an applicant who has demonstrated outstanding customer service ability, coupled with a high level of product knowledge.
  • Experience in achieving targets through effective prospecting, relationship development and management and closing is essential

Calibration Technician

An opportunity is now available for a detailed orientated individual who is, proactive, and enthusiastic person to calibrate devices used in workplaces from our Wellington CBD office. You will be provided training and support to help to be effective. You will be responsible for receiving the items, to calibrating, troubleshooting, dispatch and invoicing. You will also be required to respond to customer questions and developing the relationship as needed.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong communication and active listening skills, with a clear phone manner (you will be liasing with customers).
  • Expert skills in MS Excel, Word, and overall computer literacy
  • Excellent time management and organisation
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside the square to get the job done!

Due to the casual nature of this role, you will be given set tasks to complete which will vary in duration. However, you will be required for around 10 hours per week on average. You must also be committed to a long-term engagement.
